And Finally, My Post on Ranko "Shark" Magami and Society in General

I am not exclusive, I have many teachers I am proud to say I study from. Dr. Paul, Mystery, David Shade, certain close friends, family members, certain teachers in school… but this post I will talk about Ranko “Shark” Magami. I consider him to be my teacher of society, my guide through the “social matrix.”

Though I have only talked briefly of him, the effects he’s had on my life so far feel tremendous. I have been avoiding writing on this because I felt it will either not come out right or it will be super long. However, this must be written and written well.

Throughout my PUA journey, I have heard on and on about the Social Matrix. The_One talked about it when I met him (Maverick from “The Game”) and most of my PUA friends speak of it. I sort of understood the concept till I came across Shark’s 8 CD set. Yep, 8 fucking CD’s of a smooth talking prodigy giving away his philosophy.

We sit now, always thinking, always wondering, always waiting, or at least always planning. Pay bills, get the good grades, find new women, wait for friends, wait for the porn to finish downloading, the movies to finish playing, the song to finish, the food to fill, the drink to intox, the horn to play and the day to come. Like a fish in the water, it has no clue what water is. We don’t remember the reason for today. Life is confusing and society gives us chores and money to elude us from confusion. (This is my philosophy).

My ideas go on and on and they are forming all the time, however as no thought is ever original, my thoughts are rooted in the philosophy of Ranko Magami (and a few others).

Fuck now where do I even begin. Hold on…

First off, listening to Shark’s set is not going to be easy for everyone. Putting his smooth accent aside, Shark talks about another world. First he quantizes our world, that is he puts everything we know, do, and feel into a category and marks it. Then he addresses each aspect one by one.

  • First, why do most people believe the rich and famous can only get the hotties.
  • Where do status symbols come from?
  • Why do women respond to those types of people?
  • How come we can recognize a social outcast immediately?
  • How come almost no woman will say they’d want to be approached directly (“I like you” style) but when they actually are approached like that they melt (I’ve done it a few times, its mindbending)
  • Why do women dump “nice” guys for jerks

Now these questions, especially the last one, are almost redundant, even to AFCs. I bet everyone could answer them one by one… however that may not be the right way to answer them. In Shark’s philosophy there is only one answer to all those types of questions, one encapsulating concept. The Society Matrix needs us to believe this bull shit.

That’s it. Society needs the majority of its members to believe that shit in order for it to function. Why though? Why does society need lonely guys (and even anxious girls) who believe that shit? Well, who else watches T.V., gets hypnotized by commercials, media, and celebrities and then needs to go out and buy those new pants, new shirts, the new sandwich at McDonalds, gets worried about Homeland Security (you know, those color levels) and pay more taxes***, watches 3 hour long movies, buys that new car, etc etc. Do we really need those things, or do we think and believe we need them. I claim we can get on just fine and live a great life without any of those, in fact if all we need is love, we can get love without having that new shirt, eating that new sandwich, and buying that new car.

Are we serving society? or are we serving our soul, purpose, bliss, and passion. We were born to serve our bliss.

If people didn’t, on some level, have that feeling of desire for those material things, then the economy would go to shit. People wouldn’t buy it, corporations wouldn’t get their needed money, and society will fall apart without the economy. So how do you control a society without a dictatorship?

Really? How do you control a society without it being totalitarian?

I think one way is to somehow convince the people to follow the “leaders” without the people knowing they are getting convinced. I mean why the fuck are there only 2 main candidates for presidency whose political views are so similar anyway.

Well you can accomplish convincing someone of something without them realizing it through certain types of hypnosis. I don’t mean hypnosis like the classical parody image of a psychiatrist with a pendulum. Hypnosis is nothing more than grabbing someone’s full attention and influencing him or her. Showing us commercials with subliminal messages, like beer bottles being fondled like a cock or whatever can cause hypnosis.

One other way that goes hand in hand with controlling society is making the majority feel unhappy with their lives unless they buy those material objects. To make us feel unhappy, society makes us think we need to be rich, famous, handsome, etc to get what we want. I mean, who controls the media… corporations!

(I know many are under the impression only crazy hippies believe this shit… but that in fact is what corporations and the media want you to believe… think about it. What other reasons can you reasonably come up with. This model fits perfectly).

Okay that is my view on society. There is a ton more I can say, but this blog isn’t meant to convince you, this is just my thoughts on life. Take it or leave it, but read on ☺

Now where Shark takes this is profound. Shark not only explains this, but he also tells of a way to “unplug” yourself from this matrix. He explains his philosophy from the perspective of his own life and through it proposes missions/exercises/experiments.

The first mission is the eye contact mission. Why do some of us feel compelled to look away right after we make eye contact with another. Where does this even come from.. Well I actually do know this is a society induced mechanism because in places like China (or certain Asian countries) eye contact is shunned on while in other places it is not really a thing (sorry no sources). It is generally true that confident individuals can hold eye contact without any gripes. But recall, society doesn’t want everyone to be confident, confidant people don’t need new shoes, shirts, and cars every month.

The eye contact mission is this: can you walk down the street avoid eye contact with anyone, just giving heed to nothing but your own path? Also, when you do have eye contact, can you keep it till the other looks away?

There are many other missions and theories, like try laughing hard at your own jokes and see the reactions people give, then do the opposite, don’t laugh at all at your own jokes. How do others react?

These are the basic exercises that I am sure everyone has heard of somewhere, but the real meat in this audio is explaining women and how they are trained by society to act and respond to men. Shark explains how to avoid playing society’s game of getting women and just being direct.

I have talked to many women on my own and asked them --- if a man came up to you and said “I like you, I want to get to know you” --- what would you think or feel or whatever. The girls invariably say --- ewwww fuck that, that is sick. I hate seducers.

But guys like Shark, BadBoy, and even myself have seen this not being true, at least when the pick up line is done correctly, coming from the heart.

Hmm, its like the girls are trained to hate seducers, but when a man who comes from the heart approaches, they don’t care. Its superficiality, it’s the water surrounding the fish when its really gravity that keeps it all together.

How come girls need to be lead by an alpha male in order for them to feel safe, however this new feminist movement is all about the women leading their lives. What is this dichotomy?

Its really not men or women, its those who identify with the masculine and those that identify with the feminine (but that is going into David Deida’s “Way of the Superior Man” which is another topic for another time).

Fuck, I want to say so much more about Shark, but it’s almost like you just have to listen to it. Its 8CD’s long for a damn reason, this shit is hard to convey. But again, this blog is really my journal. I wrote down what I needed to write. I encourage you all to take a detour on your path and check our Shark. The link is in my blogroll somewhere. I highly encourage you guys..

***Okay, this is a stretch. I know we are currently in a War on Terror and a “War” on drugs. and a War on this and a war on that. I fucking pity and frown upon the terrorists as I feel they are the most hypnotized of all of us and are willing to blow themselves up and kill thousands of others for some shit they got hypnotized about. However, I am under the impression the U.S. is going a bit far on the terror fighting, as from what I understand we have expanded the government, using a lot of money, more than ever, and we are never going to just stop terror. I mean how much money could we possibly have to fight this terror?? shiiit, our taxes are gonna go through the roof soon

Shark has seperated from Fidentia...
